CAPTAIN BIJU NARAYANAN

HSEQ & Marine Director

Captain Biju Narayanan is the HSEQ & Marine Director responsible for safety, quality, compliance and vetting matters. During a 16-year seafaring career he worked on various types of vessels such as chemical tankers, PCCs, capesize bulk carriers and VLOCs. Captain Biju joined Wah Kwong in 2013 as HSEQ Manager and was promoted to Marine Director in 2019 and has more than 10 years’ experience in ship management. Captain Biju is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, UK (AFNI) and graduated from the University of Mumbai with a BSc in Nautical Sciences before starting his seafaring career in 1993. He completed a Masters at Blackpool and The Fylde College in the U.K.
